Toric Lens for Cataract Surgery, Dallas / Fort Worth

For patients with astigmatism in addition to their cataract, a toric (astigmatism-correcting) lens implanted during cataract surgery provides the best chance for clear distance vision.  The AcrySof IQ Toric® and Tecnis Toric® lenses are some of our most popular lens options for cataract surgery. These lenses are designed to correct between 1 Diopter and 4 Diopters of astigmatism, in most cases eliminating or at least significantly reducing the hassles associated with astigmatism correction after surgery.  Because this is a "premium" lens option, there are costs associated with this lens that are not covered by insurance plans.
