We Have a Specialized Team of Ophthalmologists
All of the eye doctors on our team are ophthalmologists. That means they are surgeons who treat conditions affecting the eyes. If your optometrist diagnoses an eye condition, they can refer you to our ophthalmologists for treatment. Many optometrists refer patients who are interested in LASIK or in need of advanced corneal treatment to us.
Our Doctors Are Scholars
Besides being experienced surgeons who provide patients with life-changing solutions, our doctors are academics who have published over 150 articles and book chapters on corneal diseases and refractive surgery. Our eye care team is constantly learning and growing in their techniques as new information arises and new surgical technology becomes available for use.
We Help Develop Technology
Our team participates in many of the original Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clinical trials for up-and-coming advanced vision care technology. For instance, our team was a part of the clinical trials for the excimer laser, which is used to refine the cornea during LASIK surgery and PRK. Meanwhile, we use the latest technology to diagnose eye diseases such as glaucoma and keratoconus.

Featured Procedures and Services Available From Our Ophthalmologists
LASIK
LASIK is a widely known form of laser vision correction. It can correct nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. LASIK involves a fast recovery because it involves creating a thin tissue flap in the outermost layer of the cornea. Once the excimer laser refines the inner corneal tissue, the flap is replaced to facilitate healing.
PRK
PRK is a laser vision correction method often recommended to patients who don't qualify for LASIK. There are many reasons PRK may be a better solution for you; for example, you may have thin corneas that cannot accommodate a tissue flap. During PRK, the outer corneal layer is removed to access the inner layer. As you heal, the outer corneal layer will regenerate.
Cataract Surgery
Cataracts develop when the proteins in the natural crystalline lens of the eye break down and clump together. This can make your naturally clear lenses blurry, distorting your vision. We offer cataract surgery, which involves replacing the clouded lens with a synthetic intraocular lens (IOL). IOLs can be customized with correction that can enhance your vision at near, far, and intermediate distances.
Corneal Surgery
Corneal eye diseases call for specialized care. We offer DSAEK and DMAEK, corneal transplants, and corneal cross-linking. During a consultation, our ophthalmologists can determine which solution is ideal for you.
