Plano, TX, Turns to Our Ophthalmologists
I had Lasik surgery here in January of 2022. I visited multiple facilities before making a decision. The whole staff has always been super attentive, friendly, and ready to respond any questions. Dr. Nettune made surgery feel like a breeze ! He guided me through the surgery with precise and calming instructions. I always felt in great hands.

Request a Consultation at Our Plano Office
Our practice consists entirely of ophthalmologists—not to be confused with optometrists.
Unlike an optometrist, an ophthalmologist can surgically correct eye conditions. If your optometrist has detected an issue requiring surgical intervention, get in touch with our ophthalmologists.
Our doctors have been recognized by publications like D Magazine and Newsweek for their excellent work. We combine expertise with advanced technology to deliver the best results.

Our team is made up entirely of ophthalmologists who can provide both simple and complex treatment. Some reasons why optometrists in and around Plano refer their patients to our medical team for eye care include:
Innovators and Leaders in Ophthalmology
Combined, our ophthalmologists have published over 150 articles and book chapters on a range of ocular care topics. They have also participated in the original Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clinical trials for technology like the excimer laser, which reshapes the corneal surface during LASIK and PRK.
A Specialized Team
Each of our ophthalmologists treats complex corneal conditions and can surgically correct vision through laser procedures. In addition to their main specialty, they each have a soft side specialty to continue to grow in their knowledge. From minimizing your need for corrective eyewear to controlling glaucoma, we can meet complex needs with a highly educated and refined approach to care.
Use of Advanced Technology
We believe in using only the safest and most effective surgical techniques to help you see your world in the best possible clarity. That means using the most advanced technology for laser correction, treatment for cataracts, and other surgeries.

LASIK
LASIK laser eye surgery can benefit patients who are nearsighted, farsighted, or have astigmatism. The procedure involves creating a flap in the outermost corneal tissue and reshaping the underlying tissue before repositioning the flap to heal. Our ophthalmologists participated in the clinical trials of the excimer laser, the tool used to create the necessary corneal refinements.
PRK
PRK is a laser vision correction method that is frequently recommended to patients whose corneas are too thin for LASIK. During PRK, the outermost tissue of the cornea is removed to access the inner layers. As a result, PRK recovery is longer than LASIK recovery. PRK may also be a better option for patients who lead active lifestyles or have occupations that carry a greater risk of eye injury.
Cataract Surgery
Cataracts are the leading cause of blindness. Fortunately, cataract surgery can clear cataracts from your eye. During surgery, the clouded crystalline lens will be replaced with an intraocular lens that not only gives you clearer vision, but can also enhance your ability to focus on near, far, and intermediate objects with little or no need for corrective eyewear.
Corneal Surgery
We offer DSAEK and DMAEK, cornea transplantation, and corneal cross-linking. If you are suffering from eye diseases such as keratoconus, thinning corneas, or corneal ulcers, our advanced treatments can restore and enhance your ocular health.
